		The visual media, has a profound influence on society. Film as a medium has the potentiality, not only to entertain, but also to educate all sections of the society. This medium can be better utilised, by involving / motivating the children for their welfare and pave a good foundation for their future. Keeping this in view, cfsap has been functioning with a single minded purpose, to inculcate a right attitude towards film, as the medium of appreciation and help to properly mould the Children's mind set cfsap has been putting all its efforts to make the child viewer to think aloud, by screening films to children and motivating them to give their opinion and teaching the film appreciation skills which may also help in developing film making skills and act as a nursing ground for the Film Professionals of tomorrow.

		cfsap is organising every year Hyderabad Children Film Festivals by co-ordinating with the film personalities cfsap acts as catalyst to draw their attention, towards the importance of children oriented films and make production of Children's Film as a popular as well as profitable enterprise. The sharing of their experiences and knowledge with the children, by the people in the film industry, contributes to understand and appreciate the children's point of view in an objective manner and motivates them to go in for children oriented film with a definite purpose.
		By conducting the film festivals cfsap is acting as the meeting place for the films made World Over, helping the producers to present their films through this forum, get seen by a wider audience and also provide opportunities for the children, in getting exposed to films, from various countries reflecting different cultures and in different languages.
