The Embassy of France and the Alliances Francaises in India are paying a tribute to the animation genre which is considered as a domain of excellence in France.

This festival has been made possible with the effort of French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, CICA (The International Animation Film Centre) and in collaboration with AFCA (The Association of French Animated Cinema).

The purpose is to show the richness of animated cinema through its creativity and its many techniques.

The diversity of this approach is reflected in some 40 films selected on the basis of 5 themes: Whodunits and Chases, Taking Flight, The menagerie, Modern Tales and Familiar and Unusual Works.
