VALEDICTORY FUNCTION |
The open forum is organised
by Children’s Film Society, A.P., in association with Children’s
Film Society, India and A.P.Sate Film Tv & Theatre Development
Corporation. The Programme began with the dramatisation of four
plays under the guidance of NIE from Times of India.
Four schools viz. NASR
School, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School, Oxford Grammar School
and St. Peter’s Grammar School. It was followed by the screening
of the films made by the joint efforts of the students of the
Script Writing workshop and Film Making workshop. Five films
were screened viz. Parents Parents, My Dad, Just for Lucky’s
Sake, Ehsaas, Okarikosam Andaru.
The participants were
felicitated by the presentation of momentous by dignitaries
present like Mr. Vinod Ganatre Film-maker, Mr. Narayana Rao,
Actor, Mr. B.B. Nagpal and V.G. Samanth.
The chief guest of the open
forum was Mr. Somaratna Dessenaike, Film-maker from Sri Lanka,
Ms. Vijaya Mulay, Mr. Shiva Kumar, Film-maker, Mr. Chandrasen
Nair, Film-maker from Kerala formed the felicitators for the
open forum. Mr. Veda Kumar Chairman, CFSAP invited the
dignitaries to express their opinion conduct of the children’s
film festival.

Each dignitary shared
his expertise and opinion in the area of children film making
the common message that came from all of them was to invest
efforts and resources to make the future generations an able
group of film makers. The participants of the forum interacted
with the dignitaries and queried on various aspects of film
making. The viewing of animated films made by the participants
of the animation workshop continued which was followed by the
screening of a film ‘TEAM’ made by Vamshi from Rajamadry.
The
Programme concluded with vote of thanks by the Children’s Film
Society, A.P. expressing its gratitude to all the organisations,
resource persons and the participating schools for having made
this mega event grand success.
