DISTRICT CHILDREN’S FILM FESTIVAL-R.R.DIST - 2003

INAUGURATION

The Ranga Reddy Dist., Children’s Film Festival was inaugurated at 9.00 a.m. on 7^th Nov, 2003 at Rajyalaxmi Theatre, Uppal, R.R.Dist., by Mr.M.Murali Mohan, Cine Artist by lighting the lamp. The Festival is being organised by Children’s Film Society, A.P., in association with Children’s Film Society, India and A.P.State Film Tv & Theatre Development Corporation as a prelude to the forthcoming 13^th International Children’s Film Festival, 2003.

The Chief Guest Mr. M.Murali Mohan appreciated the efforts of Children’s Film Society, A.P., for organising several workshops and screening of educative and entertaining children’s films, which will be of great use to sharpen and enhance the innate talent of the children. He also lauded the efforts for organising Film Appreciation Programme to the level of school children.
Mr. M.Veda Kumar in his presidential address said that, this is the first time the District Children Film Festivals are being organised in all Districts of Andhra Pradesh to the expected child viewers of 2,50,0000.

Mr. Tarun was the Guest of honour and child artists Baby Nitya, Master Anand Vardhan were present along with Mr. Bh.S.S.Prakash Reddy, General Secretary, Children’s Film Society, A.P., and Mr. K. C. H. Bose Babu, Manager, A.P.S.F.Tv & T.D.C., The inaugural ceremony was concluded with vote of thanks by Mr.M.N.Raju, Vice-Chairman, Children’s Film Society, A.P.,
